Monash University is looking for a suitably qualified person to play a key role in supporting the university’s central High Performance Computing services, including direct end-user support of high-end research computing users and custom software development. Two 900 core HPC systems are currently being commissioned at Monash, which also has a variety of smaller faculty-based systems. Applicants must be tertiary qualified, experienced in the administration of grid based research computing facilities, using Globus, Sun Grid Engine, Linux and Solaris environments; computer systems design, operation and support; and have excellent customer relationship skills.

Remuneration package: $82,528 - $91,099 pa HEW Level 8 / $96,280 - $102,195 pa HEW Level 9 (includes employer superannuation of 17%)

This role is a full-time position, however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
